The lake is 1m 80cm deep and has never been used commercially except as a location for wedding photographs. It is supplied by a natural spring and is completely private although close to the leisure park with golf, bar, restaurant and a much larger lake with sailing and water sports.

It is completely enclosed with new fencing and poplar trees and stocked with quite large carp.

There is a mains water supply but no mains electricity, the lighting is bottled gas and this also runs the shower and cooking.

The two chalets have a BBQ and patio garden and there is also an organic toilet.
