It is in very good condition and has been run as a popular Gite, with up 7000 annual rental income.
Le Vieux Moulin is in a superb setting. You will be entranced. This traditional Longere, a former Water Mill cottage is great for exploring Brittany and its historic towns, coasts, lakes and rivers. It has flower garden, fruits, herbs and a veg plot. Utter peace sitting by the stream, or playing boules down by the woodland. Relax and escape to a land of myths, legends, vibrant culture, beautiful landscapes and wonderful food!
This is a renovated, refreshed Longère with a reliable gite income, which is let for 6-8 weeks a year, sometimes 12-14 weeks,(figs/accounts available) depending on how often your family & friends wish to stay! It lies in half an acre of land.

Great for walking and biking, and many beautiful beaches are only 45 mins away.
It is near the pretty Scorff Valley, and its spectacular gorge, walks and restaurant.
In a very peaceful hamlet, with lovely neighbours, not overlooked, with great views over the surrounding countryside.
So you can choose to relax at home or go exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, historic towns or coasts.
Or you can quietly sit down by the stream with a drink where the oaks, beech and birch trees give shade. Many guests happily step into the shallow waters on a fine warm evening.
It is paradise and all you will hear is the birds! You will fall in love with this lovely house, it has so much charm and character. We can happily share many guest comments about their stay. Some leave poems, others little sketches. A few find serious archaeological finds!

Le Vieux Moulin has a large airy sitting room with a woodburner. The charming kitchen has a contemporary, fresh look and yet of traditional design and made in wood. It has a welcoming feel to it. With its splendid butler sink, it is all simple and works beautifully! A new freezer for 2019.
The lower part of the house has a quiet study with river view. The pretty bathroom is fitted with a traditional roll-top bath & shower. It boasts a chaise longue. The peaceful Garden Room, which converts to a Double or Single, looks out to the gardens and stream. The charming beamed sitting room is next to the open plan kitchen area.
The traditional Longere design allows for privacy between the two ends of the house with separate stairs to bedrooms. In the lower part, climb the stairs to the Duck Blue room and be entranced by its light decor, French furniture, and lovely calm feel. There are ample storage/luggage rooms.
For those chilly Spring or Autumn evenings, there is central heating, and a most efficient Danish woodburner. There are practical traditional tiles & nice wood floors throughout, and very easy to clean. The first floor above by the mezannine, offers another double bedroom, and a further single. There is an outside store for garden equipment, boiler and tools. The property further benefits from mains water, electrics, Gas, fosse septique, central heating and excellent wifi.
