La Maison Bleue is well known owing to it's location between the medieval villages of Puy L'Eveque and Duravel - 10mins away. The local amenities (including local restaurants, bars and shops) are 15mins away. The area has lots of local attractions including tennis courts, canoeing, fishing and rafting, all within a 10min drive. Nearby is Chateau de Bonaguil (15mins), High ropes Monkey Forest in Lacapelle en Biron (30mins). National Parks, lakes and bathing locations are also half an hours drive. The local area has an abundance of vineyards (some within walking distance) for touring and wine-tasting, specifically Malbec - The Black Grape of Cahors. The area is also a well known cycle/walking area, having been the route for Tour de France on many occasions. It is also on the route for Pilgrim walk of Compostela de Santiago.
