Summary
Australien/Français We are ideally located with Mont St Michel and the beaches of Normandy an easy day trip away. Our house is two bedrooms with a spacious double and three singles, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a foldout couch bed for which linen can be supplied at a cost of 10e per person.
The apartment is independent, with a double bedroom, bathroom and lounge area with a foldout bed for an additional 55e. The apartment is small, but it can accommodate up to four people.
The apartment is listed under "La Haute Roche".
The house has English satellite television and also French TV, there is a wood burner for which the initial box of logs is provided and more can be purchased from the neighbor (contact details in the guest book).

The house is ideally located with a beautiful lake accessible from the bottom of the property with a 2km walking/jogging track, children’s playground, little bar by the lake (open during summer months), and the village is just a 10 minute walk away. There are DVD’s and board games and bicycles can be loaned on request. It is the perfect, private, serene get away while at the same time the activities and places to visit should you want to get out are limitless.

The things to do in the area are too long to list, beautiful medieval ruins dating back to the 4th centuary, in nearby Domfront the ruins of a castle that was inhabited by Richard the Lionheart, there are markets about a 30 minute drive away, restaurants in nearby villages, zip wire parks, canoeing, fishing in the local lake (permits can be purchased at the town shop), cycling paths, walking tracks and the list goes on! There is the festival right here in our village on the 15th of August that attracts thousands of visitors each year and a must visit is the “Vide Grenier” where the villages close down their main streets to hold markets. (You can buy a book with all the dates in a newsagency).
If you are travelling in the winter months Normandy is famous for it’s illuminated villages, all the towns are decked out with the most amazing Christmas lights and the night markets are a must see! On arrival at the house you will find all the brochures and information on hand.

Rez de chausse : Cuisine tout aménagé, Salon avec lit clic-clac à deux personnes, (draps fournis pour 10e supplémentaire par personne) télé satellite (anglais) et télé français, chauffage à poêle (le premier lot inclus avec réservation sinon une brouette peut être acheté chez le voisin). 1ere étage : Chambre lit double chambre avec trois lits simples et salle de bains.
Il y a possibilité de réserver un appartement Independent qui est idéale pour un couple mais qui peut loger jusqu’à quatre personnes pour 50e supplémentaire.
Rez de chausse : Salon avec lit clic-clac. 1ere étage : Lit double et salle de bain.
Des DVD et jeux de sociétés sont à votre disposition ainsi que des vélos (sur demande). Un lac se trouve à 300m accessible de notre champ avec sentier de 2km, parc d'enfants et buvette (ouverte selon la saison). Le village est à 10 minutes à pied avec petite superette.
À proximité: piscine, accrobranche, mini-golf, centre équestre et canoë à quelques kilomètres, station thermale, golf (9 trous) et casino à 25km (Bagnoles-de-L'orne). A faire : - Circuit Louis de Frotté (Flers, Cerisy-Belle-Etoile, Ambrières-les-Vallées, Céaucé, Couterne...) - Circuit Lancelot du Lac (Lassay-les-Châteaux, Loré...) - Les Flories d'antan de St-Fraimbault (festival du village fleuri renommé) !!!, - Musée du cidre à Melleray-la-Vallée à 10km, - Les Médiévales de Domfront à 16km, - Les Spectacles Equestres à Juvigny-/s-Andaines à 16km, - Lassay-les-Châteaux à 20km, - Abbaye de Lonlay à 20km - Château de Mayenne à 24km, l'un des plus anciens d'Europe, - Jublains site médiévale qui date du 4eme siècle.
