The garden is a particular feature of the property and the views stretch across to the church and stream that runs through the centre of the village.  Covering about a quarter of an acre, there is plenty of mature trees and shrubs, it is a shady oasis in the summer months.  There is a garage and also a pretty 2-storey barn.  The ground floor is currently a workshop/garage, whilst the  first floor, accessed via one of the terraces, is a craft workshop.

Location

Lauzès is a very pretty little village with a good range of amenities - the favourites being the village restaurant and boulangerie.  There is a stream that runs through the village and, being in the national park, as you can imagine, there are plenty of lovely walking trails in the area.  The river Lot with its’ spectacular cliff faces, riverside restaurants and wild swimming opportunities is just 10mins south of the village. Towns and villages in the area that are well worth exploring include Cahors, Figeac and Montauban.  Gourdon, Rocamadour, Souillac, Martel and Sarlat-le-Canéda are all to the north of the property.  The nearest airports would be Toulouse (90 mins) or Bergerac (120mins).
