From a location perspective it is close to the major town of Vitre with its historical centre and the vast array of commerce and services to the outside of the town. Equally it is a short distance from the centre of the Rennes being approximately 30 minutes from the city centre. The TGV services are accessible at Vitre and Rennes allowing for a transfer to Paris of less than 2 hours. The channel ferries from St Malo are approximately 1h15 from the Chateau.
